Silfab Solar is the North American manufacturing leader in the design and development of high-efficiency, premium-quality solar panels. Silfab leverages more than 40 years of solar experience and operates out of facilities in Burlington, Washington, Toronto, Canada and Fort Mill, South Carolina. All of our locations feature fully automated production lines and utilize just-in-time manufacturing to deliver millions of North American-made top-performing solar panels designed specifically for the North American market.
Headquartered in Puerto Rico, Solx is building the Island’s first solar panel manufacturing facility. The 1-gigawatt facility will be one of the most technically advanced in North America. Scheduled for completion in August 2025, the facility will produce PV modules using a state-of-the-art semi-autonomous assembly line.
Suniva is America’s oldest and largest monocrystalline solar cell manufacturer in North America. Suniva was founded in 2009, out of one of the world’s foremost photovoltaic research institutions, The University Center for Excellence in Photovoltaics at Georgia Tech, and from research sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy. Suniva has established itself as an innovation leader, having originated and licensed over 150 patents around solar cell development over our 16-year life. Suniva’s innovative, proprietary cell processing techniques and business model are used to achieve industry-leading efficiencies while maintaining among the lowest costs in the United States. Suniva looks beyond its products to work with solar module assemblers, EPC firms and solar plant developers to enable high-value solar projects benefiting from domestically-made, high-quality and high-efficiency solar cells.
